Non-Executive Recruitment

Dear candidate,

Thank you for your interest in the role of NED of Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. We are a leading provider of integrated healthcare services, including community and therapy services,  primary care, community and inpatient mental health services, learning disability services, healthy lifestyle support and addiction services.  We deliver these important services to a population of 765,000 of all ages across an area of over 4,700 square kilometres including Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, Whitby, Scarborough, and Ryedale.

Overall, we are rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission.  We are fortunate to be judged one of the best Trusts in the country for mental health service provision, which was confirmed to us by our winning of the Mental Health Provider of the Year at the Health Service Journal Awards 2019.

We are now seeking a new NED to work with the Board of Directors and the Council of Governors to ensure we continue to meet our vision ‘to be a leading provider of integrated health services, recognised for the care compassion and commitment of our staff and known as a great employer and a valued partner’. You will be an experienced, Board level clinician, or be used to managing clinical services at a strategic level.  You will need to represent the Trust at all levels across the Humber, Coast and Vale Integrated Care System, the region and nationally, so your personal credibility and your ability to influence at a senior level will also be important.  We require someone who has the ability work with and positive challenge a highly performing Board of Directors.

In this recruitment microsite you will find details of our achievements, the journey ahead and our plans and strategies.  If have the desire to work with one of the most important institutions in our region, then we would love to hear from you.
